Foundation day celebrations

ICAR-NBAIM celebrated its Foundation Day today (1st June 2017). On this occasion, a joint meeting was held with the programme coordinators of Krishi Vigyan Kendras viz. Mau, Ghazipur, Azamgarh and Ballia to apprise them about the technologies developed by the Bureau and to discuss the modalities for its dissemination. The programme started by a presentation by the Director Dr. Anil K. Saxena on the microbe based formulations developed by the Bureau for nutrient management and plant growth promotion. The programme was also attended by the progressive farmers from these districts. The KVK officials showed keen interest in the microbe based products and provided their inputs for the spread of the technologies. The occasion was marked by organizing a Blood Donation camp at the campus in collaboration with Civil Hospital, Mau wherein scientists and other staff of the Bureau donated blood.
