Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (MGMG)

Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav programme is being implemented by the Bureau since 2015-16. Five teams of scientists have been constituted to implement this programme in 23 villages of Mau, Ghazipur and Azamgarh districts. These teams regularly visit the villages to create awareness about microbial based technologies and other improved agricultural techniques. Under the programme, the farmers have been given the bioformulations for nutrient management viz. Bio-NK, Bio-phos, Bio-Zinc and Biogrow for seed treatment in different crops along with literature on the said formulations, Microbial consortia for rapid composting of agricultural residues. The qulity seed of wheat has also been distributed to farmers in the said villages and Farmers Ghosthis have also been organized to give create awareness about different farmer friendly schemes being implemented by Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India.
