Deposition of microbial cultures under General Deposit

Cultures can be deposited free of charge in the NAIMCC and will be available to other stakeholders from government or private organizations under the terms of the Material Transfer Agreement. To deposit the cultures, the culture along with dully filled passport data form needs to be submitted.

Form and Quantity

ICAR-NBAIM follows the guidelines prescribed in the rules and regulations of the “National Biodiversity Authority”. Materials for deposit should be pure (uncontaminated). The culture and duly filled passport data form should be submitted along with a forwarding letter from the competent authority. Proper packaging is desirable, NAIMCC will not be held responsible for any damage/loss of the culture vials during the transportation of package.
