Extension of last date to apply in the national training program titled “Mastering Molecular Techniques: Microbial Identification to Diversity Analyses” from December 06 to 13, 2023

The last date for application has been extended till 04th November in the training on “Mastering Molecular Techniques: Microbial Identification to Diversity Analyses” from December 06 to 13, 2023 at to be held at ICAR – National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms (NBAIM) is organizing a training. The participants will be sensitized with the current tools and techniques used in molecular identification of bacteria, cyanobacteria, and fungi. Hands on practical sessions on PCR, restriction analyses, genetic and phylogenetic diversity analyses will enable the participants to undertake research in microbial taxonomy and diversity.

Eligible participants                                  

Ph.D. students, Research Scholars, Post-Doctoral Fellows, Technical Officers, Scientists/Assistant Professors/Lecturers or above, from any University/ Institute/ organization working in biological sciences.

Fees for the training

Rs. 5000 per trainee for students/research scholars/post-doctoral fellows and Rs. 8000/- for technical officers, Scientists/Assistant Professors/Lecturers or above from Public/Private Universities or Govt. Institutions. Rs. 12000/- per trainee for researchers from private or non-Government organizations /Companies/ FirmsThe fees include accommodation, food, and training materials.
